SAR, an expression that is closely
connected to the Sea King Mk 41 of the Marinefliegergeschwader 5. The German Navy Sea King Mk 41 89+58 of German
Naval Wing 5 arrived on 23.06.2010 from the paint shop at Erding at its
home base Kiel Holtenau. It was presented for the first time
to the public during the traditional and this year last Open Day of the
SAR Meet at Kiel Holtenau on 26th of June 2010. The fuselage sports the
letters >35 Jahre SAR mit Sea King (35 years of SAR with the Sea
King)< in German language
